Holiday Hope

Our annual December program that brings warmth, stability, and joy to seniors and families who may otherwise face the season with uncertainty. Community sponsors are matched with households to provide meaningful gifts, holiday meals, and essential items—always delivered with dignity and care.

For many, the holidays can heighten financial strain and isolation. Holiday Hope helps ease that burden, offering not just support, but a sense of belonging—so seniors feel connected, families can focus on togetherness, and children can experience the joy of the season.

How it works

Holiday Hope is built on connection: linking the generosity of donors with the real, expressed needs of seniors and families.

• Seniors and families register through St. Matt’s.
• Sponsors are matched with a family or senior.
• Each sponsor receives a customized shopping list.
• Gifts, grocery cards, and essentials are delivered with care and respect.

Financial support ensures long term sustainability and success of the program. Every match is handled thoughtfully by our Holiday Hope team to ensure fairness, dignity, and a meaningful experience for all involved.
